ReNewVax was invited to appear on The Northern Agenda’s second birthday podcast!
The episode saw hosts Rob Parsons and Dan McLaughlin discuss the last two years in Northern politics and ask whether the North is still a priority for the government.
As the podcast coincided with World Immunization Week, it was only right to discuss the major impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the rate of vaccine uptake.
We discussed the facts and figures about the number of children who missed out on vaccine milestones and the need to protect people from vaccine-preventable diseases.
We also discussed the groundbreaking work being done in the North by organisations such as ReNewVax and iiCON in the realm of vaccine innovation and discovery, supported by Liverpool City Region’s Growth Platform.
